Abstract

Предмет истраживања овог рада је приступ спољној политици Сједињених Америчких Држава као елемент изборне стратегије Хилари Клинтон на председничким изборима у Сједињеним Америчким Државама 2016. године. Идентификација спољнополитичких тема и њихов третман у изборној кампањи послужиће да се утврди вредносна оријентација Хилари Клинтон, само порекло и корени њеног приступа спољнополитичким темама, као и да се утврди веза између вредносне оријентације и спољне политике за какву се залагала. Најпре ће бити речи о (спољнополитичким) темама као фактору изборне мотивације на основу социо-психолошког модела изборног понашања, изборној стратегији и вредносној оријентацији као њеној основи и савременом политичком миту као језгру. У раду су анализирани говори кандидаткиње и три председничке дебате. Такође, изборни програм Хилари Клинтон коришћен је да допуни или појасни нешто што је у председничким дебатама већ споменула. Главни аргумент је да приступ Хилари Клинтон спољној политици има дубоке корене у америчкој историји и традицији, да је у доброј мери обликован њеним пређашњим политичким искуством и да се темељи на миту о америчкој изузетности у духу Вилсонијанаца.
