УЛОГА БРИКС У УСПОСТАВЉАЊУ РАВНОТЕЖЕ СНАГА У МЕЂУНАРОДНИМ ОДНОСИМА

Abstract

На самиту у Јоханесбургу у августу 2023. године чланице БРИКС – а донеле су одлуку о ширењу, те је позив за пуноправно чланство послат на адресе још шест потенцијалних чланица. Годину дана пре тога, постигнут је договор о успостављању резервне корпе валута што је први корак у стварању међународне резервне валуте. Очигледан циљ је да се стварају алтернативне финансијске институције насупрот ММФ, СБ и СТО и да се дедоларизацијом глобалне економије смањи политички утицај САД и колективног Запада.

У овом раду доказује се теза како је БРИКС и настао због успостављања равнотеже снага у међународним односима. Односно, да су одлуке које се доносе мотивисане политичким разлозима због којих је основана ова платформа. Дакле, не успоставља се равнотежа снага због дедоларизације, већ се дедоларизација циљано индукује како би се остварила равнотежа снага у међународним односима. Или, не шири се БРИКС због тога што се мења равнотежа снага, него се управо ширењем БРИКС убрзава успостављање новог баланса у међународним односима. На интензивирање интеграција унутар БРИКС-а, као и стратешких пројеката БРИКС-а, попут оснивања Нове развојне банке и најаве дедоларизације, утицала су два важна догађаја у последњих деценију и по: Арапско пролеће и ескалација Украјинске кризе. Промене у међународним односима и безбедносном окружењу натерале су БРИКС да убрза са разрадом конкретних пројеката и њиховом применом. Услед тога се и успостављање равнотеже снага одвија брже него што је раније предвиђано.
